PowerOn was contracted to provide a turn-key solution for a bakery proofer. The system consists of 14 motors, as well as an Omron PLC and HMI. The client originally wanted to use sensor-less vector VFDs for this application, due to budget restrictions.
PowerOn was contracted to develop a vision system that would count and display the number of vials in trays at the end of a production line. At that time, an operator was physically counting the bottles in each tray and recording the number. This caused conflicts between the production and the shipping department because the counts were never accurate.
PowerOn was contracted to provide a full turn-key solution for a system that could produce 20 cakes/min. The line had to be recipe driven for the various cakes that the client produced.
PowerOn was contracted to provide a turn-key solution for 2 separate elevator lifts for maintenance access to the Worlds largest 1080p HD video screens, each screen being 160ft long by 72ft high. The video structure has 8 floors and the lowest point is 120ft above the field.
OnPowerOn was contracted to design and assemble a control system for a GM engine rocker cover. This system consisted of 9 modular stations; each with an AB ControLogix PLC and a Panelview+ HMI. It also featured 5 ABB robots, a Bosch pallet conveyor system, a pallet RFID system and a various Jokab Pluto safety PLCs.
PowerOn was contracted to upgrade a 20-year old servo feeder. The new feeder had to be more accurate, faster, and operator friendly than the previous system. PowerOn designed and built a new control system that consisted of an Omron PLC, HMI and servo drive.
PowerOn was contracted to provide a full turn-key system for a robotic welding cell. PowerOn was also responsible for the design concept of the cell, the design and manufacture of the robots 3 EOAT, as well as the welding fixtures. This weld cell consists of 4 Fanuc robots, 1 of which is a 6-axis robot mounted upside down on a 10ft high, 55ft long overhead gantry. This robot is a 350kg payload material handling robot. On the floor there are an additional 3 welding robots.
